Description
My parents moved into our house the day I was born, and though I have not always lived here, I always come back. The neighbourhood has changed a lot in the 53 years since I was born, but it is still a very friendly place to live. The yards are huge, and there are woods and fields nearby to walk my dogs. Work is an easy half-hour bike ride away, along the Rideau river bike paths. The yard is a work of art thanks to my sister, and all our 3 cats love to explore it. The neighbourhood is called Cardinal Heights, and every day I hear the cardinals sing. Also robins, jays, sparrows, grosbeaks, finches, red and grey squirrels, raccoons, skunks, rabbits, groundhogs, foxes and even the odd coyote abound.
