Park living in the city

Close to schools, hospitals, shopping centers and major transport routes we also have the best of rural/cottage country. The Trans Canada trail goes through Brittania and is just a few minutes walk from anywhere. Can be downtown in 12 minutes or use the Trail to bike, rollerbade or jog. 12km from my house to the Parliament Buildings. I can walk to either of two yacht clubs in 15 minutes. 5 minutes gets me to community centers. We are surrounded by parks that support swimming, windsurfing, fishing, boating, as well as baseball, football etc. You can be on a championship golf course in as little as 5 minutes or a public course in the same time. We have 2 art galleries, numerous excellent restaurants and a movie theatre complex all within very easy walking access. Mud Lake is a Wildlife/Bird Sanctuary that has walking trails through it. In 10 minutes on a bike you can be on one of several nature trails also. A friendly mix of people living in an ecclictic mix of housing makes us a fantastic area to be in. You have to be lucky to live here.
