My nieighorhood is not like others it is considered one of the highest crime rate neighborhoods in Calgary. I have lived here for 21 years and even though everyone thinks that this is a really bad neighborhood I just don't agree. It's the good people that live in this nieghborhood that make it great. I work late nights and walk home, and almost every night I am followed home by a person with bad intentions. But along the way, I always know who I can ask for help and they will always give it, no matter if it's 1pm or 1am. I have confidence in our local police precinct, they come when they are called and are always on the ready to help. Weather I call regarding noise disturbances, loitering or illegal activity, they respond quickly, politely and professionally. I feel safe with them on the job. No matter what happens here I still love it because the good people always have each others backs' and make it like family.
