The Green Neighbourhood

My neighbourhood is awesome! It's not one of those new suburbs where you have to drive even if you just need a little milk or bread. Here I can walk or bike to everything that I need, even work! Children actually walk to school here too, which reduces the major traffic problems that all the parents can cause. Pizza, groceries, hair cuts, dentistry, medical assistance, places of worship, movies and even a large shopping mall are all within walking distance. If I feel like going downtown for festivals, fine dining and interesting shops I can bike for 30 mins max. Then there are all the parks and green areas with trails, playgrounds and fields to run around in or take your dog for a walk. We also have the best view in town, looking over everything with amazing sunsets. Excuse the picture, we've had a lot of rain lately, plus my camera isn't the best. The view is amazing in person. Our neighbours say hello to each other, kids play outside on the street, and ice cream comes to your door. Reminds me of when I was growing up. Just a nice place to live.
