Cadboro Bay, Our Retirement Dream
Description
After 30 years of living on The Prairies, we finally pulled up our roots and retired to Cadboro Bay, Victoria. We have found our own little piece of heaven here in a community of a mixture of townhouses and condos. We are fortunate to have wonderful views of both sea and mountains, an ever changing vista with views of Mount Baker, the San Juan Islands and Salt Spring Island. We also enjoy early morning sunrises and spectacular sunsets. The gardens are a sight to behold, plus the benefits of swimming, tennis, golf and many kilometers of walking and biking trails. The people were so welcoming and friendly. We settled in very quickly, and enjoy Friday night Happy Hour, dinners out, annual Barbeques and Christmas parties. We can watch the deer play, eagles soar, visit with friends, or just sit and watch the world go by.
