I moved to Broadview Saskatchewan after living my whole life in a big city in Ontario. I loved it here and bought my first house there and am now married and living on a farm. This town is so great. Much like the rest of the whole province. Everyone knows everyone and everything about eachother. Its like one huge family. People I had never met knew so much about me and it was a shock coming into an atmosphere so open being from the city people wouldent look you in the eye. But when I moved to this little 600 person town..I came home from work to find baked goods, flowers and lots of goodies for my new home from neighbours. I even had two nice ladies come by and tell me there was a new position open at one of the best employment oppertunities in town and they encouraged me to apply and I did end up getting the job! People would stop by just to see how you are. People near you would always keep watch to be sure your house was safe. I love Broadview.

There are so many reasons why I love Orleans. Parents and kids can enjoy many fun attractions like parks, trails, sports complexes, etc. As kids grow older and want their independence, the bus system offers a safe and reliable way to get around. Malls, coffee shops, concert halls and cinemas are all great places where teenagers can discover new interests and passions. The perfect place for young families as well as retirees.

I love living here, the neighborhood is friendly and safe for my grandchildren. People are so helpful here and do things for each other like mowing the lawn or running errands for each other. My garden is growing as neighbors drop off cuttings and offer advice on raising vegetables, fruit trees etc in this area. Once a year we have a community potluck picnic. People are proud of their homes and look after them and their yards beautifully. We live right on the Chilliwack River and lots of my neighbors are avid fishermen. I love driving into the valley and seeing all the people lined up along the river bank anxious to catch the salmon. We are also close to Rotary Trail for walking or Brideshead Trail with all the stairs for fitness workouts.

The reason i love my neighbourhood is because,I am 36,soon to be 37,and i have a licence no car,so in order to get any where,i ask my brother or sister-law to take me to certain places, I also have people from the church willing to pick me up and bring me to church, if the weather is bad, i also live really close to a grocery store, or if need be a food bank,when the weather is good, i will walk, to where i need to go, or i will take my bicycle,one of the guys i work with, comes and pick another guy from hamilton,and i am the last one he picks up,most of my family lives far away mom and dad live in orillia, my one sister lives in windsor, and my other sister lives in ingersol,so my brother is the only closest one to me.
