I love where i live because my neighborhood is amazing. The neighbors are like family to me, the kids playing outside all summer gives my neighbor hood the happiest feeling ever. In Summer my neighbor hood is the most gorgeous part of regina, and in winter it is so convienient that I live so close to harbor landing which has everything anyone would need, also I live close to the southand mall which i Love. Everyone in my neighbor hood is so friendly, and that is what I love about regina. If you ever need something you have so many people, family, friends and neighbors who would be there to help in an instant :) I think my neighbor hood is the best, because it is full of the most amazing people. And it is the love in a house, or a neighbor hood that makes it home,. And my neighborhood is full of friends who are like family :) That is why i loveeeee my neighborhood :) It is safe, beautiful and full of people who make it that way
In 1997 I immigrated to Canada, with my two boys. Within two days, we moved into a townhouse in Burlington, moving into our own home 6 months later. A detached family bungalow with a large garden, in the New Street /Walkers Line/Spruce area of Burlington. It is a great area in which to live, within easy walking to the lake, Eastway Plaza, the Hydro Trail, the Paletta Estate and Sioux Lookout. My neighbours are wonderful, friendly and helpful. A short cycle ride away is Spencer Smith, a beautiful lakeside park hosting many festivals throughout the summer, Sound of Music, Rib Fest, Concerts and many other events. Close by is the Joseph Brant Museum, along with Joesph Brant Hospital, (just in case) Contiue along the edge of the lake to the The Beach Strip. A wonderful place to cycle in the spring, summer and fall, about 12k. Burlington is an amazing community, friendly, helpful with activities for every age group
My great neighbourhood consists of many maple and birch trees, that when it is windy or just a soft breeze gives a feeling of relaxation. The street is very quiet. Our sons can ride their bikes on the road with very minimal cars going by. The older boys can play a game of road hockey with hardly any interruption. Neighbours on the street a delightful, lending a helping hand when needed. When we moved here there were no young children but in the past 6 years there are kids that get together and attend each others birthday parties or just going to the park. We can grab a cup a coffee and chat about what is happening. Our neighbourhood is simple, quiet and friendly. We were considering moving had our house listed and we chose not to because our house might be small but our neighborhood is perfect.
There are so many reasons to love Westboro. We moved in to the neighbourhood ten years ago because of the little village feel to the area. We liked how friendly everybody is. The houses have character. We dreamed of our children playing with the other children on the street. There are lots of children to play with on our street now. We love how close everything is (shops, cafes, transit). There are so many parks close by. There are several schools all within walking distance which is so important to kids; to know your neighbourhood. Our son loves walking & riding his bike to school. We are friends with our neighbours. Every now and then we think we want to move to a bigger house but we cannot imagine leaving our lovely tree lined street, our friends and the wonderful place that is our home. Westboro is such an amazing community that it would take more than 1000 characters to say it all. We love Westboro.
My neighbourhood We reside in a quiet rural crescent located on a golf course known as Lombard Glen. Our kids have grown up here and love to come home. Born in the area, it's a great place to call home. At our back door, we can take a walk down the Cataraqui Trail, golf or in the winter time Cross Country Ski. We wouldn't live anywhere else.
