My Great Neighbourhood

Lachine is a calm city in Quebec near Montreal. I fell in love with Lachine recently and bought a house to raise my family. I really love the neighbourhood because it is peaceful and has a reputable school. I love also the park and Lachine's civic engagement.

We just bought our house last year and we only moved a block from our last house cause we really wanted to stay in the neighborhood. we searched all over and finally had our agent just knock on the door of the house we wanted and they said yes to the sale! We are surrounded by some great schools for our kids which is our main reason for staying but it is also a very friendly and nice neighborhood to be in. Why would we want to leave all that.

I love my neighborhood because my Mom's yard is big enough for an easter egg hunt.

I love my community neighborhood with its community gardens, fresh markets, family owned restaurants, farmer's market, and coffee shops. The accepted diversity is part of building the vibrant canvas of a community. Walking along the drive you feel at home as you always run into a friend. I just love the way the drive has embraced the concept of community and the strength and warmth this brings to my home.
