My Great Neighbourhood

It's a neighbourhood that always has people outdoors - walking, running, dog playing, basketball games, kids at the park and exercise groups at the parks. You never feel alone. People always stop and chat while you're gardening. It's a community environment.

This was the first house that my Husband and I had ever bought, so it was already a nervous and exciting situation. But meeting all the neighbors was really good. We ended up getting the usual neighbors, the nudists, the couple who like to bbq at all hours of the night, etc etc. It's really great because everyone really looks out for eachother and it's a safe place to let your pets or kids run free.

Barrie is home to many parks, trails, beautiful waterfront and festivals. We take pride in our shoreline and community events. We host many events year round. We have a strong sense of community and family. Every year we have Celebrate Barrie Day where families and individuals can come out to enjoy live entertainment, food, games and see what Barrie has to offer. We also have many shopping and restaurant choices. We also offer many different education options (Public, catholic, french etc)
