We absolutely love our house and neighbourhood. The area is quiet and the people are friendly. Close to schools and parks. Everything we wanted.
St Andrews is a great place to leave. It is very close to Winnipeg, but away from all the crime that goes on there.
What can you say about a town that is surrounded by a bunch of cornfields and hardly anything urban? Well, it may not sound as appealing to others, but I love my town of McGregor, Ontario. The fact that the town is so small does not dictate how much character it has. Being so close to your neighbours makes it feel like a big home. You have to leave town to buy groceries, go to bank and eat at your favourite restaurant; so what? It may as little as 10 roads or so, but McGregor is my favourite place to be. It is peaceful, relaxing, and just the place anyone would like to be.

The main reason I know I live in a great neighbourhood is my amazing neighbours! Where else could I live and have Anna come over every Fall with fresh spaghetti sauce created lovingly in her kitchen with her home grown tomatoes? I get excited every time I see Magda approaching my home with the latest ready vegetables from her garden or a bag of apples in her hand. This is love in action. When my 13 year old neighbour, Brandy, comes to my house, I know it is to tell me that their excess raspberries are ready to pick. Snowy days find my neighbour, John, out with his quad clearing everyone's sidewalks! What a joy to come home after a long evening of work, prepared to shovel a recent snowfall from my driveway, and see the tracks from John's work. Gratitude fills my heart living with such thoughtful, caring neighbours. The greatest gift is the love of Grandma Margaret and Grandpa Martin - our 'adopted' grandparents from the day my children were born. Who could ask for anything more?
We have lived in Carleton Place since June 1992 and we would not live anywhere else. l travel to Vanier everyday and it is only a 1/2 hour to 40 miniute now with the completed 4 lanes on Highway 7. We are on the Mississippi River where we have Dragon boat races, parks, beach, all along with a waterpark with swings and a water park, for the kids, They love it, so do parents. Our Canada Day Event is just one the best activity where people from Kanata for the best fireworks show. Grand stand with local singers. Our Christmas Parade is a called the "0Parade of Lights" because it is an evening event and it is wonderful, while I am on the KOC float I see the whole town with smiles.. This small town of 9,000 offers good shopping with many main street dinner's and speciality stores and 3 grocery outlets. Many home renovation stores. We have a wonderful life with many friends from Church and neighbours who are always there when you need something. Come out and check out our town.
i love my neighbourhood because yesterday i got home and my front door was wide open...having a 4 year old that's not odd, but it was wide open nonetheless. NOT A THING WAS MISSING. it was kind of a shock to see but nice to know that people didn't just help themselves.
We moved about 10 blocks west this year and cannot believe the difference it has made for us. We have amazing neighbours, a brand new school across the street - you walk down your street and everyone says hello and recognizes that you are new. There are lots of children to play with ours and the parks are conveniant and plenty! Lastly the lots are beautiful, everyone takes great pride in how their facade and front yard look, we are so proud to live in Griesbach!!!
Figaro is my canadian stallion. we both reside up in belood ontario. we love belwood for its beatuiful sceray. there is nothing more relaxing riding my black stallion through our beautiful onatrio feilds. i have taken many photos off his back and hope every one can apperciate what i see while i ride. i would never trade thsi beatuiful landscape for nothing and if any body is as fortunate as me to ride on a back of a horse through thses beatufil feild i feel they will never be disapointed.
I love my neighbourhood because we live on a nice, quite friendly cul de sac just minutes outside downtown Ottawa. We live next to the Green Belt so nature is a big part of where we live. All our neighbours are extremely friendly and are always going to each others houses for dinner parties, and all other kinds of celebrations.
Located nearby Ottawa, 5 minutes from the Scotiabank Center, one minute or less from bike trails and minutes away from the ever growing Stittsvile
